Use the command Extend to extend a line, polyline or arc to the edges of other objects.

• Extend.

• Extend (auto).

Extend

Use the Extend function to extend a line, polyline or arc to the edges of other objects. Select the objects that define the extension limits and then the segment to extend.

• Click Edit.

• Click Extend.

  

• Select the limit objects.

  

• Select the object to extend.

  

Extend (auto)

Use the Extend (auto) function to extend a line, polyline or arc to edges of the nearest object.

• Click Edit.

• Click on the arrow near the function Extend to open the drop-down menu.

• Select Extend (auto).

  

• Select the object to extend to the nearest object.
