Polygon

The program can create a closed polygon using different options.

The command is activated by:

• Click Draw.

• Click Polygon.

  

You can use the following options:

• Polygon: creates a new closed polygon. The command prompts you to select the points that are the vertices of the polygon.

• Polygon from polyline: transforms a polyline into a polygon. The command prompts you to select the polyline to convert. The polyline does not need to be closed, the command creates a closed polygon by joining the last vertex of the polyline to the first.

• Polygon from boundary: creates a polygon by selecting a point inside a closed area.

• Add islands: adds internal islands, represented by a polyline, to an existing polygon. To create an island select the existing polygon and then select the polyline that represents the island.
