Project to plane

The function Project to plane is used to project the selected objects to the current reference plane or assign an elevation.

If a specific reference plane is not defined, the objects will be projected to the plane XY at specified elevation.

  • Click Edit.

  • Click Project to plane.

  • If a projection plane is defined, this will be used to project the points. (see Projection plane )

  • If a projection plane is not defined, the XY plane is used as default. In this case you can click on CAD or manually enter the elevation.

  • Select the object to project on the defined plane.
