Transfer data from digital level
You can import data from digital level instrument using the following command.
Click Home.
Click Digital level.
The command opens a window.
The instrumentation profile is the whole of settings and parameters that allow X-PAD Office Fusion to connect the instrument and download the data. The instrumentation profiles are saved in the program and are available for subsequent data downloads. You must press the Customize button to set an instrumentation profile and then press the button Next in the new window.
The following parameters are required:
Name: set the name of the instrument profile.
Brand: allows to choose the instrument brand.
Model: select one of the available models of TPS.
Communication: to choose the communication technology with the total station. Options can be Serial port (COM) or Bluetooth.
Port baud-rate, Bit data, Parity, Bit stop: to set the values and parameters to communicate with the instrument. The values must be the same as those set in the instruments.
You can run a connection test to see if the set parameters are correct by pressing the button Check connection.
Pressing the button End the instrumentation profile is saved and will also be available for subsequent downloads.
The downloaded data will be saved in the active survey subproject and be locked at the Levelling data manager.
