The function Project to plane is used to project the selected objects to the current reference plane or assign an elevation.
If a specific reference plane is not defined, the objects will be projected to the plane XY at specified elevation.

Click Edit.

Click Project to plane.

If a projection plane is defined, this will be used to project the points. (see Projection plane )

If a projection plane is not defined, the XY plane is used as default. In this case you can click on CAD or manually enter the elevation.

Select the object to project on the defined plane.
