Area subdivision divides an area on a surface defined by a polyline, a parcel or a sequence of points.
The dividing line can be parallel or perpendicular to the reference points.
Click COGO.
Click Area subdivision.
Select the closed polyline or the parcel from CAD. Click
to select the element in CAD.
Select the method to divide the area.
Parallel by 2 points: the dividing line is parallel to the line through the reference points.
Perpendicular by 2 points: the dividing line is perpendicular to the line through the reference points.
Hinge point: the calculation is based on a fixed point and the size of the area to be subdivided. Using the fixed point as the center of rotation, the correct position of the dividing line delimiting the defined area, is calculated.
The next page allows to enter the parameters on how to subdivide the area.
Value: actual size of the area.
% Percentage: size entered in percent of the whole area.
Total area: size of the whole area.
Area (value): actual size of the divided area.
Area (%): size of the divided area in percent.
Tap Next to display the position of the crossing points.
Select the crossing point to record or to use for stakeout in the graphic window.
Click Create point to activate the creation of the calculated point.
