The creation of a group of sections is required to allow the program to store the sections and profiles.
You can create a subproject of Alignments & cross sections in the following ways:

Click Alignments & x-sections.

Click New Sections group.

This command opens a new window.

Enter the sections group name.

Select the type of cross sections:

Alignment: see Alignments .

Topographic cross sections: topographic cross sections are vertical cross sections along a direction and cut completely the model in vertical. Allows to create Topographic and Long profile sections.

Generic cross sections: cross sections that can cut the model on a vertical, horizontal or sloped plane. Allows to create Horizontal, Vertical and By 3 points sections.

Click OK.

The subproject that you create will become the active Alignments & cross sections.

The subproject created will become the active subproject of category Alignments & cross sections.
