Trim

Use the command Trim to trim a line, polyline or arc on the edges of other objects.

Trim.
Trim (auto).

Use the Trim function to trim a line, polyline or arc on the edges of other objects. Select the objects that define the trim limits and then the segment to trim.

Click Edit.
Click Trim.
Select the limit objects.
Select the object to trim.

Trim (auto)

Use the Trim (auto) function to trim a line, polyline or arc on the nearest object.

Click Edit.
Click on the arrow near the function Trim to open the drop-down menu.
Select Trim (auto).
Select the objects to trim. The limit object is the nearest object.
