This option enables/disables the creation of topographic point on each vertex of the drawn elements automatically.
The main difference is that a survey line is connected to topographic points: if the topographic points undergo a transformation or in general move, the line follows the points.

Click Draw.

Click Create point button.

The drawn lines and polylines are created as survey drawing and are saved in the active survey subproject.
