Managing profiles of internet providers

  • A provider is the manager providing the service of GPRS data traffic.

  • The provider has to be defined and selected when working with Internal GPRS and a SIM card inside the GNSS receiver.

  • Parameters required to define a provider are:

    • Name: description of the provider.

    • APN Server: name of the access point for GPRS and UMTS nets.

    • User ID: identification of the user to access the service. Necessary if the access is protected by a user ID and a password.

    • Password: set the password to access the service. Necessary if the access is protected by a user ID and a password.

    • PIN: PIN to use the SIM card.

  • Click Accept to save the provider.
